Equipment Pickup
Hello Football Players,
There is a lot of info to be shared so please forward to any other parents/caregivers that need the info. We will also be able to answer more questions at equipment handout and at the player/parent meeting.
July 13th & 14th will be the dates for equipment handout. Please come at your designated time. If there are multiple family members in the program, they can come together so you don’t have to make two trips. This doesn’t include family friends.
Parents, you will be asked (required) to let your player go through the equipment fitting line on their own. There is a lot going on and this will allow the coaches to talk to directly to the players about their equipment. There will be a check-in table and the table workers will be able to answer many of your questions. If they can’t, they will find someone who can.
The exact player needs to be present for equipment handout. We fit the equipment specifically to each player. Someone else cannot pick up equipment for a different player. If you can’t make Equipment handout, please do not email asking if there is a different date you can meet us to pick up equipment. Our Board is 100% volunteer, and they have very busy schedules also. We will make sure your players get their equipment. If nothing else, we will get you fitted on the first day of practice. But that will result in players and coaches arriving late to the first day. I know it can be difficult, but please attend your scheduled equipment handout.
After the player gets their helmet, it is important that they wear it around before practice starts. They take some getting used to. Mow the lawn, do the dishes, brush your teeth with your helmet on are all great ways to start getting used to the helmet.

Monday July 14th
6th Grade 4:30pm – 5:30pm
5th Grade 5:30pm – 6:30pm
4th Grade 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Equipment Pickup will be at the football storage shed located at the DeForest Athletic Complex on River Rd.
